Based on my experience, there are some tricks to make blog fast :
- Picture Did you know, pictures with large size can make our blog become slower. So, it's better for you to decrease the use large-size picture. Both in template and also posts. You can use Photoshop Save for Web & Device trick.
- Widget Over usage widget was one of problems which makes blog become slower. Especially if the widget contains heavy scripts. It's good for you to delete some widgets which unuseful such as clock, music player, pet, games, and so on. Use useful widget such as related posts, most popular articles, or maybe Google Friend Connect.
- CSS and Javascript As we knew, CSS and javascipt can make our blog become good looking. But the side effect is it can make our blog become slowly. So you should decrease the usage or compress it for your blog. To compress Javascript, you can use Javascript Compressor.
Epilog How to Make Blog Fast and Faster: I think good blog should have a good looking and fast loading. But, don't reduce your creativity on blog. Stay blogging!

What you absolutely agree image! even if it slows down the site has full size image .. I personally use 800x600 pixel images, and all goes well)))

I got a very big Problem, I just want some solution for my blog. It is Too Heavy, and it is causing big problem for me. I want posts to appear in 2nd page, and i want first page to be without posts, i will add something else on first page, like a simple html welcome page or something like that. How to do that in blogger?? minimum post count is 1 per page, i simply want it to not appear in homepage, if i remove the post widget, it is deleted for all pages. what is the solution??

I use javascript compressor but then something went wrong, some of javascript can't run properly. I think not javascript should be compressed.
